Welcome to Junior Gower Bike Ride 2018

The Junior Gower Bike Ride is open to all riders aged 14 and below. Anyone of any age can feel the benefits of cycling and we want to encourage an early start.

When entering the Junior Ride you can expect all the same service that you get on the road route. There are two major differences.

The route is entirely off the highway and concentrates on the cycle track. Where the cycle track ends and joins the road to the pier we have arranged a road closure. This will also mean that you can return the same way down what is normally a one way road. The total distance is 9 miles.

Even though the cycle track is public it is technically private land which allows us to make the wearing of a cycle helmet compulsory. Any rider not wearing a helmet will be excluded from the event.

The cost of the ride is the same as for the around Gower route but you can bring your brother or sister for an additional £3. You must be accompanied by your Mum or Dad and they get to ride for FREE.

Any questions please do not hesitate to contact us info@whiterockevents.co.uk

The Route

The total distance is 9 miles.

The route is along the cycle track and where it joins the road that road will be closed so you are away from all traffic. You must be accompanied by an adult and they must stay with you for the duration of the Ride.
